Initially, the senior scientists include five condensed matter theorists specializing in soft condensed matter physics, including biological applications, and experimentalists in biological and solid state nanopores, superconductivity and quantum computing, and unconventional semiconductors. Some members of the Branch are also members of the Syracuse Biomaterials Institute.
