The Gordon Research Seminar on Correlated Electron Systems is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

This meeting will focus on developments at the frontier of quantum many-electron physics, a rapidly evolving field thanks to recent breakthroughs in materials, new experimental probes, and theoretical methods. Through invited and contributed presentations and a poster session, the seminar will emerge attendees in the conversation that will continue with the Correlated Electron Systems Gordon Conference; topics will include but are not limited to: magnetism, non-equilibrium correlated matter, and topological phases.

Application Deadline

Applications for this meeting must be submitted by May 24, 2014. Please apply early, as some meetings become oversubscribed (full) before this deadline. If the meeting is oversubscribed, it will be stated here. Note: Applications for oversubscribed meetings will only be considered by the Conference Chair if more seats become available due to cancellations.

GRS Speaker Abstract Deadline: Although applications will be accepted until the date noted above, any applicants who wish to be considered for an oral presentation should submit their application by March 21, 2014.
