A tenure track position for an assistant professor with concentration in Inorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Delaware. The successful candidate will have a PhD in chemistry or a related field, demonstrate excellence in teaching at all levels of inorganic chemistry, and is expected to establish an externally funded, vibrant research program focused in inorganic chemistry, broadly defined. Currently, our department has 180 Ph.D. students and will attract over $10 million in extramural funding in the current year. Assistant faculty in our department have been highly successful in competing for federal funding as well as a range of young investigator awards (Sloan, Pew Scholar, Dreyfus, ACS Star, DuPont Young Investigator, Cottrell Scholar, NSF Career).
