The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a non-tenure track lecturer position, to start in the fall of 2015. This position is a nine-month appointment and is potentially renewable indefinitely. Applicants must have obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry (or a related field), have experience teaching at the undergraduate level, and be committed to teaching excellence. Duties include teaching general chemistry courses during the academic year, typically three courses per semester, in a large classroom setting. Experience teaching organic chemistry is highly desirable. This position also allows for 25% of effort on such activities as professional development, outreach, and service activities.
