UTPB (http://www.utpb.edu) is seeking applications to fill one Petroleum Engineering position with a rank commensurate with qualifications. Anticipated starting date is Spring 2016, to teach courses in our undergraduate Petroleum Engineering Program. This position is, preferably, tenure-track with desired expertise in production and/or well design. Applicants must have earned doctorates in Petroleum Engineering or closely related fields. The successful candidate must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching, research/publications and service. All applicants are subject to the provisions of Section 51.125 of the Texas Educational Code requiring a background check.
