The University of Kentucky, College of Health Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science Program is seeking an energetic medical laboratory scientist to assist our program for the academic year of 2015-2016. We have an immediate need for a highly motivated individual whose primary responsibilities will include student recruitment and laboratory instruction.

The student recruitment will include the teaching of a one credit hour introduction to the MLS profession course that is taught in the fall and spring semester. In addition, attending on-campus and off-campus recruitment events in which MLS should be promoted. The primary laboratory instructional duties would include assistance with the laboratories of clinical microbiology, clinical chemistry, and coagulation and body fluids. Minor responsibilities in recruitment, instruction and other program assignments will be assigned based upon programmatic needs.
