THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL & BIOMOLECULAR ENGINEERING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment and an outstanding academic record. All candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education and be able to teach courses in both the undergraduate and graduate core chemical engineering curriculum. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a competitive, extramurally-funded research program. All areas of research will be considered and candidates whose research interests integrate with the interdisciplinary doctoral programs in Systems Engineering or the Biomedical Engineering track of the Basic Medical Sciences program are especially encouraged to apply. The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering has an ABET accredited undergraduate program, a M.S. program, and participates in two interdisciplinary doctoral programs in Systems Engineering and the Biomedical Engineering track of the Basic Medical Sciences program.
