TEACHING INSTRUCTOR, DIRECTOR OF FIRST-YEAR LABORATORIES

The Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University-Newark seeks candidates for a full-time, non-tenure-track instructor position, beginning September 2015 or January 2016. The Rutgers non-tenure-track stream is a career path with competitive salary and benefits.

The instructor’s primary duty will be teaching first-year chemistry laboratory courses for science and non-science undergraduate students, including management of teaching assistants and oversight of relevant safety issues. The successful candidate will also teach some introductory lecture courses, as needed.
