Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. We expect the candidate to be actively involved in the development and application of new theoretical and computational approaches for biophysical studies of biomolecules as key drug targets in cancer therapeutics. Methods used in the lab include, but not limited to, coarse-grained modeling, all-atom molecular dynamics, theoretical/experimental small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS), and their combinations. The candidate will have the opportunity to be in close collaboration with members in the wet-lab as well as our experimental collaborators outside. Knowledge of biomolecules is not required but advantageous. Qualified and motivated applicants will have a Ph.D. in bio/physics, bio/chemistry, bio/engineering, or related fields.
To apply, please send a CV (with contact information of at least three references) and a brief description of your research background and interests to Dr. Sichun Yang via e-mail (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)). More info about the lab can be found at http://yanglab.case.edu.
