Modern Aspects in Quantum Materials and Quantum Technology

This programme aims to bring together condensed matter theorists and experimentalists of the Baltic regionas well as from outside. The structure and programme of the meeting makes sure that novel and exciting research directions within the fields of quantum technologies and quantum materials are in the focus of attention.The topics include the following five subjects:

• Quantum dot heat enginesandthermoelectricity in nanowire quantum dots
• Majorana qubits, fractionalization of angular momentum at topological insulator interfaces, Floquet topological insulators
• Phase crystals, superconductivity in FeSe, Sr2RuO4, andtwisted van-der-Waals materials,intertwined orders
• spin pumping into spin-polarized condensates, new aspect of anomalous thermal and Josephson Hall and spin Nernst effects
• thermalization dynamics, entanglement and Mott physics
